Terms of Service

Effective date: July 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bike Ops ("we," "us," or "our") including our website at bikeops.co, our application at app.bikeops.co, shop subdomains (such as yourshop.bikeops.co), and our iOS and iPadOS apps (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Who may use the Services

The Services are intended for businesses and their authorized staff. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for the conduct of staff you invite to your workspace.

The Services

Bike Ops provides software for bike repair shops to manage repair workflows, booking, messaging, invoicing, payments, and related tasks. Each shop's data is stored in an isolated workspace. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Services.

Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

Access to Bike Ops requires a paid subscription after any applicable free trial. Pricing is shown at signup and in the app before purchase.

Web and desktop billing

When you subscribe through our website or desktop, billing is handled by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your workspace billing settings.

In-app purchases on Apple devices

When you subscribe through our iOS or iPadOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Taxes and refunds

Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for applicable taxes. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in violation of any law or third-party rights
  • Send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited messages to customers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other workspaces
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Services except as permitted by law
  • Upload malware or use the Services to store or transmit harmful content

Customer data and messaging

You are responsible for the customer information you enter and for communicating with your customers in compliance with applicable laws, including obtaining any required consent for email and SMS messaging. You grant us the rights necessary to host and process your data to provide the Services. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Payments to shops

Card payments collected from your customers are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. We are not a party to transactions between a shop and its customers and are not responsible for the goods or services a shop provides.

Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, and content we provide, are owned by Bike Ops and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription. You retain ownership of your own workspace data.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if required for security or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. We retain and delete data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bike Ops will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
